This module is simply clamped between harness and headlight bulb. The assembly takes about 5 minutes.
The purpose of the module is that when the ignition is switched on, but the engine is not running yet, the headlight will be off to conserve the battery. Anyway, if you want to have the light on while the engine is not running, you just have to turn on the high beam switch and turn it off (that's exactly how you turn the light on when the engine is started). After treatment with HKS-R, the penetration of lubricants, e.g. of HKS extreme, into the chain interior to the highly loaded chain pins is absolutely ensured. Due to the sealing effect of HKS extreme, no more dirt can get into the chain inner life.

Step 1:Jack up the machine on the main stand or free the rear wheel. To avoid contamination of the stand surface, use newspaper or a drip pan.
Step 2:Application Component 1HKS-R CLEANERCleaning and preparation for perfect chain lubrication!Start at the chain wheel in the middle of the chain wrap and spray the chain or dirty rim thoroughly with component HKS-R REINIGER and allow to act. Then wipe chain or rim with a cloth or brush. Repeat process until all foreign matter has been removed.
Step 3:Application Component 2HKS-R NEUTRALIZERStart at the chain wheel in the middle of the chain wrap and spray the chain or dirty rim thoroughly with component HKS-R NEUTRALIZER and allow to act. The chain will now be absolutely clean from the outside and inside. After approx. 3-5 minutes (when the white coating has evaporated and the chain has regained its normal appearance), apply chain lubricant e.g. HKS extreme high performance chain lubricant. The sealing rings are in the state of shrinkage, so that the lubricant also reaches completely into the inner life of the chain, to the highly loaded chain pins. After another 3-5 minutes the sealing rings regain their normal condition.
