The R12 G/S already has a really good riding position straight from the factory – upright, relaxed and exactly as you’d expect from an enduro. 
Nevertheless, many of our customers would like the handlebars to be a little higher still. This makes a noticeable difference, particularly on long rides, when riding off-road whilst standing, or for taller riders: your upper body sits even more upright, taking the strain off your shoulders and wrists, and you simply sit even more comfortably on the motorbike.
That’s exactly what the SW-Motech handlebar risers are for.

20 mm or 30 mm

We offer the handlebar riser in two heights:
- 20 mm: For anyone who just wants a little more comfort without significantly altering the riding experience.
- 30 mm: For anyone who wants a really relaxed and upright riding position.

The riser is specially designed for the R12 G/S and therefore fits perfectly. There’s no need to extend the Bowden cables or brake lines – simply fit it and off you go.
It is made from high-quality aluminium and is black anodised. This protects it against corrosion and ensures it matches the G/S cockpit perfectly.

ABE – Road approval

The handlebar riser comes with ABE approval and does not need to be registered. Important: The ABE approval certificate must always be carried whilst riding. The ABE approval applies only to the models listed therein and provided the instructions in the fitting guide are followed.
