Side panels / radiator fairing for the original BMW R12 G/S fuel tank
The side panels for the original BMW R12 G/S fuel tank are fitted on the right and left and transform the previously rather plain transition between the fuel tank and the radiator into a truly attractive, seamless look.
As standard, a lot of the radiator is visible in this area, and the original plastic trim looks rather plain and very basic compared to the rest of the motorbike. The side panels neatly finish off the front of the tank, thereby creating a perfect connection between the tank and the radiator.
The result is a significantly more harmonious and high-quality look, in which the tank and radiator are visually much better integrated.
As well as a fairing component with a much more attractive feel.
Design
The side fairings consist of an ABS fairing with a CNC-machined aluminium plate. This not only gives the area a more attractive shape but also provides a high-quality combination of materials that perfectly complements the R12 G/S.
The ABS side fairing is available in various finishes:
- Black – natural ABS finish
- Option 719 Aragonite – painted in the original colour
- Bright white – painted in the original colour
Fitting
Installation is carried out using the supplied mounting brackets. The original parts of the BMW R12 G/S do not need to be modified or altered for this.
Simply fit it, and you’re done – and the area between the fuel tank and the radiator now looks much more harmonious.
