Give your BMW R12 G/S a clean and tidy rear end with our rear conversion kit.
The G/S comes from the factory with a really nice short mudguard & a really nice rear end. If it weren't for the ugly, long plastic licence plate holder.
With the Classicbike-Raisch aluminium rear kit, all the plastic stuff is removed and your G/S gets the look of a real off-road bike! Pictures speak louder than words.
In this kit not like most scrambler bikes with a central licence plate holder but with a side one. Of course there is a small break in the handle BUT you also have a completely free rear end, which emphasises the off-road look even more. Because a real rally bike has no licence plate at all.
The side licence plate holder (there are several to choose from) must be ordered with the description.
Here you get the cleanest rear end for your G/S. And the whole thing comes as a simple plug & play kit with all the necessary installation materials and installation instructions.

Necessary accessories
Licence plate holder
There are 4 different holders to choose from:
1. the Vario holder: An inexpensive (but still very high quality) holder reduced to the essentials (the most inconspicuous of all), which fits all licence plate sizes and is variably adjustable in position (must be registered). Mounted on the product pictures
2. the Rizoma holder: Probably the highest quality holder of all. This bracket is supplied with a parts certificate and can simply be fitted (does not have to be registered with the TÜV).
3. the adjustable bracket: A sophisticated bracket with aluminium number plate, which also has variable adjustment. Must also be registered by individual approval.
4. The AC-Schnitzer holder: A licence plate holder milled from solid material with parts certificate.
Indicators
The original indicators are not compatible. Accessory indicators with M8 thread must be fitted. Suitable models can be ordered as a set directly under the product description(incl. 10 % discount).

Scope of delivery
The kit contains everything you need to convert the rear end as shown in the pictures:
- Aluminium rear lower shell: Black powder-coated, for a straight, flat rear line. It also acts as a splash guard and provides space for electronic components under the seat.
- Indicator holder
- Mounting materials: Including rubber sleeves for neat cable routing.
- Installation instructions: For simple plug & play installation.
