Timing belt drive kit for the air cooled Triumph Modern Classic models.
The timing belt drive is primarily to reduce the loss of power from the transmission output to the rear wheel. It also makes the usual chain maintenance a thing of the past. No more chain tensioning, no more chain lubrication, and most importantly, no more chain grease/dirt removal from the bike.
The gear ratio of your motorcycle remains the same after the conversion.
Attention:
The kit is not a very easy to install plug & play kit. Please have a look at the assembly instructions before buying (you can find them under downloads in the product description).The original chain guard and the sprocket cover can not be used. A matching belt guard and sprocket cover, you will find under the accessories in this description.
