Zard 2-2 Slip-on exhaust system for Thruxton 1200 R.
Also fits Speed Twin & Thruxton RS/TFC. However, these models are not listed in the ABE - we will be happy to explain exactly what this means over the phone.A beautiful, short rear silencer for the Thruxton. Elegantly finished with visible weld seams. Available in stainless steel or titanium. The exhaust sounds nice and muffled and throaty.
The exhaust is fitted with removable DB killers for those who want an even throatier sound. We also offer racing DB killers specially manufactured for this exhaust system. These provide a nice throaty sound (as it should be), but it still looks legal as there is a DB-killer inside (see accessory article in this description).
The exhaust is available as a road version (with EC approval)
Racing version (without EC approval) - this is significantly cheaper and also available on request.

Zard 2-2 Slip-On muffler for R9T Scrambler.
A Scrambler exhaust as it is in the book! This is exactly how the exhaust must look on a Scrambler. Two slim, tapered mufflers that are nice and tight on top of each other. That paired with the grilles at the end of the exhaust provides just the right look that a Scrambler needs! In addition, the exhaust also impresses with its beautifully muffled and rich sound, as it should be for a 2-cylinder boxer.
The sound is already audibly better and throatier through the exhaust, but in our ears does not bring the desired AHA effect that one hopes for. We recommend the people who like it a little more throaty and louder, our additional Zard Racing DB-killers to order (See accessories article in this description without road approval). With the racing DB-killers the bike then has the throaty and nice dull bassy sound that a 1200cc engine should have! The advantage here remains that a DB-killer is installed, the bike is not too loud and it looks like everything is original.
In the basic version, the exhaust is supplied in stainless steel blank (also looks very nice). Optionally, the exhaust can also be ordered in black ceramic-coated.

Short: short design - this frees up the entire rear wheel on the Bobber.The look changes significantly and appears even cleaner and more uncompromising.
Road approval

Note Speedmaster 1200:The system fits technically, but is not homologated for this model (but is supplied with the E-number for bobbers).If you would like to know more about this, you are welcome to give us a call and we will find out more.

Material & installation
The stainless steel slip-on exhausts from Zard are always of a very high quality and fit perfectly.They are simply plug & play onto the original manifold. The conversion is completed in a good 20 minutes.
Swiss customers / authorisation

Two beautiful top-mounted mufflers that are tapered and have a slanted end cap. Due to the slanted end caps, the exhaust opening looks particularly large and provides the cool megaphone look.In addition, the exhaust also impresses with its beautifully muffled and rich sound, as befits a 2-cylinder boxer.
