Give your BMW R12 nineT a modern and minimalist design with our rear conversion kit, which was developed legally and in accordance with legal requirements. Depending on the choice of licence plate holder, TÜV registration may be required.
The kit ensures a significantly shorter, tidier rear end and replaces the original, long plastic licence plate holder. The result: a harmonious, clean motorbike design with a flat, sporty line.
Necessary accessories
To fully utilise the kit, you will need the following components:
Indicator holder
There are no indicator holders in the kit, as you have a choice of different ones:
Option 1: Indicator directly at the end of the rear (legal position)
Option 2: Turn signal holder frame (even cleaner rear but no legal position)
Indicator / tail light combination
The original 3 in indicators are not compatible. Accessory indicators with M8 thread must be fitted. Suitable models can be ordered as a set directly under the product description(incl. 10 % discount).

Side licence plate holder
The original licence plate holder is removed. A side licence plate holder is required and can also be ordered directly as a set with a discount. You have a choice of four variants:
- Raisch Vario holder: Minimalist, inexpensive and variably adjustable, suitable for all licence plate sizes.
(Requires individual approval by the TÜV). - Rizoma holder: High-quality option with parts certificate, no TÜV registration required.
- Adjustable holder: With aluminium number plate and variable adjustment.
(Requires individual TÜV approval.) - AC-Schnitzer holder: CNC-milled with parts certificate.

Scope of delivery
The kit contains everything you need to customise the rear as shown in the pictures:
- Aluminium rear lower shell: black powder-coated, for a straight, flat rear line. It also acts as a splash guard and provides space for electronic components under the seat.
- Black powder-coated indicator holder: Suitable for all accessory indicators with M8 thread.
(Note: original indicators cannot be used. M5 to M8 adapters are required for Kellermann Atto indicators). - 3D-printed brackets: For securely fastening fuses and plugs under the seat.
- Mounting materials: Including rubber sleeves for neat cable routing.
- Installation instructions: For simple plug & play installation.
