Product information "HeckWeck Kit – SpeedTwin 900"
Classicbike-Raisch short rear end / HeckWeck kit
for Triumph Speed Twin 900 from model year 2026 (Euro 5+)
Made in Germany – legal / compliant with the German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO).
This is how clean and tidy a rear end can look when you do away with the original rear mudguard.
The number plate sits as close as possible to the seat, and the LED number plate light (included) tucks neatly away into the recess provided in the seat. Minimalist, unobtrusive and exactly as you’d want a modern custom rear end to look.
Adjustable number plate angle – 30° / splash guard
The Heck Weck Kit comes with an adjustable number plate holder. This ensures that you can always set the number plate to the prescribed 30°.
For everyday use, the number plate can be positioned at a slightly steeper angle – which looks much better.
For MOT or inspections, the angle can be adjusted to the legally required position in a matter of seconds (see pictures).
Lock nuts ensure that the angle does not change unintentionally whilst riding.
The number plate is designed to be large enough to accommodate any number plate size in the world without any problems.
The rear underbody panel provides good splash protection for all components – even in the rain or on wet roads.
Essential accessories
Indicator brackets
The indicator brackets must be ordered separately. You’ll find two different versions below the description.Vario indicator brackets
The indicators are fitted directly to the number plate holder. The brackets are width-adjustable, so the indicators can be positioned perfectly for any number plate width.
This version is legal and fully compliant with the German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO).
Strut Indicator BracketsHere, the indicators are fitted to the inside of the strut using a mounting plate. This means they are almost completely hidden from view at the rear – when switched off, it almost looks as though no indicators have been fitted at all.
When flashing, they are of course clearly visible. However, this version does not comply with the StVO, as the indicators are positioned too far inwards.
3-in-1 indicator/tail light – required
As this rear end does not feature a central rear light, 3-in-1 indicators must be fitted.
These combine indicators, tail lights and brake lights in a single housing.
You can order the matching indicators directly as part of a set below – with a 10 per cent discount.
All the indicators on offer have an E-mark and are approved for road use.
Additional accessories (optional)
You can order the following items directly as part of the set below the description:
Wiring harness (highly recommended)
We strongly recommend this. Without the cable set, the original Triumph central plug would have to be cut off and everything wired individually.
When you buy the set, you’ll receivea 30% discounton the wiring harness.
Number plate screw set
For a neat finish, you can secure your number plate with colour-matched screws.
Reflector
To ensure your rear end is 100% road-legal, a reflector must be fitted beneath the number plate
Resistor
With modern motorbikes, it is no longer possible to say with 100 per cent certainty in advance whether resistors are required or not. They are required for most indicators.
We therefore always recommend ordering a set as a precaution.
Fitting
The conversion is well within the capabilities of even less experienced DIY enthusiasts. Detailed fitting instructions are, of course, included.
