Machined from solid – 6.61 kg lighter than the original wheels (R9T figure)Â
Stunning forged rims from PVM, originally developed in collaboration with AC Schnitzer and now available exclusively from Classicbike-Raisch.Â
The rims are milled from a solid block of aluminium.Â
Not only do the rims look absolutely stunning, but they also save a significant amount of weight. And you really notice this when riding – because it reduces rotating mass. The motorbike turns much more easily, accelerates better and feels much more agile overall.

Weight saving
Original rear: 6.70 kg without inner tube / 7.60 kg with inner tube
Original front: 6.35 kg without inner tube / 7.05 kg with inner tube
PVM rear: 4.12 kg – saving 3.48 kg
PVM front: 3.92 kg – saving 3.13 kg
That’s a total reduction of 6.61 kg in rotating mass.
The inner tubes are completely eliminated with the PVM rims.
Weight figures are based on the original BMW 17-inch spoke rims.
Tyres & parts certification
The rear 6-inch rim accommodates a 180, a 190 or even a 200 tyre. The standard size is used at the front.
The parts certificate lists a number of tyre types. Anyone wishing to fit other tyres must have these registered via an individual type approval.
The parts certificate can be requested in advance upon enquiry.
Finish
The AC S10 wheel set is supplied unpainted. This allows you to realise your own colour ideas – or you can simply polish the wheels.

Black powder-coated:
Generally available in various RAL and colour shades. You can order them directly from the shop in black; other colours are available to special order.
High-gloss finish:
However, we only recommend this for riders who clean their motorbike regularly and rarely, if ever, ride in the rain. If you’d like to know more about why this is the case and how much maintenance it requires, just ask us.
Brake disc adapter rings
The rims come with silver aluminium adapter rings for the brake discs. If you’d prefer them in black, you can have them anodised by us (lead time approx. 2–3 months). To do so, simply add the relevant item to your order from the accessories section in this description.
