Superbike triple tree kit for Triumph Thruxton 1200, R & RS


With this superbike triple clamp kit, you can transform your Thruxton 1200 from a sporty café racer with deep stub handlebars into a much more active and relaxed bike - without losing the classic look.

The higher tubular handlebars make the Thruxton much more agile, manoeuvrable and comfortable to ride. The more relaxed riding position is immediately noticeable, especially on longer tours or in city traffic.

Many people initially worry that a superbike handlebar will destroy the beautiful lines of the Thruxton - but it absolutely does not. On the contrary, it makes the bike look even more classic and harmonious.
And no - it doesn't turn the Thruxton into a speed twin. The beautiful tank of the Thruxton still makes a huge visual difference.

Seating position & riding feel

Compared to the original handlebar ends, the riding position changes as follows:

  • approx. 9 cm higher
  • approx. 6 cm wider

This allows you to sit much more upright and relaxed on the motorbike without losing its sporty character.

High-quality CNC-machined triple clamp

The triple clamp is completely CNC-milled and finished to a high standard.
Suitable for different handlebar diameters depending on the model:

  • Thruxton 1200 R / RS → 28 mm Fatbar handlebars
  • Thruxton 1200 → 1 inch handlebars

Scope of delivery

Grip heater

The original Triumph grip heater cannot be used with this conversion.

If you still want to keep your hands warm, we recommend our Koso grip heater.

Classicbike-Raisch tip

For perfect lines at the front, we also recommend our headlight & speedometer lowering kit.

This makes the front look much cleaner and more harmonious - especially in combination with the higher tubular handlebars.

Handlebar drilling template for the armature lock When fitting a new handlebar or stub on all Triumph models with standard 22mm or FatBar (inside thick outside 22mm) handlebars, it is necessary to drill two holes in the new handlebar. The original fittings are then locked over these. On the water-cooled Triumph models from 2016 onwards, there is also a hole in the handlebars on the throttle grip side on models with 1-inch handlebars. As it is not exactly easy to drill a hole in round material (such as a handlebar) and they also have to be exactly opposite each other, we offer this drilling template. This is simply placed around the handlebars and screwed in place. This makes it very easy to drill the two holes exactly opposite each other.

This lamp holder kit moves the original headlight and speedometer of the Thruxton 1200 & Street Cup models further down. Very often and for a long time we sat in front of our Thruxton and thought that this is a sharp bike! But something just does not fit. Something is not right in the front part!After some considerations, drawings and a few beers we realized that the headlight and the speedometer are just too high. The position of the headlight spoils the nice, flat & straight line of the bike. So we developed a kit to lower the headlight and the speedo 4cm. Also the headlight moves 1,5cm closer to the bike and doesn't stick out as far to the front.The kit consists of 2 CNC milled aluminium lamp holders, a milled speedo lowering and screws.The lamp holders can be exchanged Plug & Play for the original ones. The speedo lowering is simply screwed between the speedo holder and the speedo. Assembly time approx. 10 minutes. Rarely have we had a part in our assortment that brings such a positive change to the motorcycle with so little effort. Because pictures say more than thousand words, just look at the pictures! IMPORTANT! click on the pictures and have a look at them in large size, because they are moving pictures, which show the change from original to lowering. The kit is available in deep black anodized and in raw aluminium.In raw aluminium the brackets and the lowering are perfect for polishing, it fits very well to the original triple clamp which is also polished on the Thruxton R. The Motul aluminium polish from our range is perfectly suited for this purpose (see accessories in this description). Polishing takes about 10 minutes (The pictures of the kit on wood show polished holders). Accessories: we also offer a schwarezn set of screws as accessories (see accessories in this description). The kit includes all visible screws on the lamp holders, in black.
