Unit Garage High 2-1 exhaust system for BMW R12 models.


The exhaust system simply fits plug & play onto the original exhaust bracket of your BMW.

The 2-1 exhaust from Unit Garage in Italy is probably the most radical exhaust for the BMW R12 series.
The short, top-mounted rear silencer in GP style ensures a really free rear end. So short that the rear area remains beautifully free and visible and so high that the beautiful rim of the R12 really comes into its own.
We have been fitting & selling the identical exhaust system for the predecessor model R nineT for many years. Visually and qualitatively an absolute highlight.

And the whole thing comes with an E number (road licence).
We can also issue a special certificate for Swiss customers (please contact us for this).

The exhausts from Unit Garage are very well made and also sound more than awesome, which you wouldn't think at first glance with such a small silencer. But they really do! Really nice and throaty, muffled bass.
The rear silencers are supplied with removable DB killers.
If you want even more sound, we recommend the Unit Garage titanium manifold without KAT. As the R12 models are equipped with a very large catalytic converter ex works, which also swallows up a lot of noise, the motorbike cannot get much louder without a different rear silencer.


The exhaust system is available in either stainless steel or titanium.
With the titanium version, the beautiful weld seams, which tarnish slightly due to the heat, remain visible. The titanium version is also somewhat lighter.

Due to its design, the exhaust system is very light and saves 1.15 kg in stainless steel and 1.65 kg in titanium.

Installation is very simple and can be completed in a short time.

The exhaust system can also be supplied with a black ceramic coating on request.


Raisch style tip

Most people always ride their R12 without a pillion. Those who do so do not need unsightly pillion footrests and can remove them.
