This 25-litre fuel tank in 80s Dakar style is the perfect basis for turning your BMW R12 G/S into a genuine rally-oriented enduro - clearly inspired by the legendary Dakar machines of the 80s in terms of both appearance and technology, but with modern technology and suitability for everyday use.

The R12 G/S already has a lot of classic G/S feeling ex works & offers the perfect basis for a retro conversion.
With this tank, however, you can take the look and, above all, the range to a whole new level.
Ideal for long tours, trips away from civilisation or simply for the uncompromising retro Dakar look.


Complete Dakar look & accessories

The larger tank significantly changes the proportions of the R12 G/S and provides the typical, beefy rally look. In combination with other retro and Dakar add-on parts such as the lamp mask, mudguards, exhaust or fork protectors, a harmonious overall look is created - very close to the classic desert bikes of days gone by.

There are also seat covers for the original seat bench to match the tank colour designs.

The BMW logo shown in the pictures is NOT included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately (see accessories below the description).

Plug & Play / BMW paintwork

The tank is designed in such a way that it can be fitted completely plug & play.
No modifications to original BMW parts are necessary. All the necessary brackets are included in the kit, and installation is simple and fully reversible.

Thanks to the enclosed video instructions, the conversion can be completed in just a few hours - without any tinkering or improvisation.

You can order the tank in various BMW factory colours / in RAW, i.e. unpainted / or in Dakar special paintwork.
