Dakar rear brake caliper guard for BMW R12 G/S

The cover fits snugly around the brake caliper, ensuring everything is properly protected without looking bulky. The ventilation slots and the cut-out RAISCH logo give the brake a really rugged rally look.
Awesome off-road design & genuine protection for off-road use – that’s exactly how it should look on a G/S.

The guard therefore serves two purposes:
- Protection against stone chips etc. (which, of course, is rarely an issue on the G/S due to the position of the caliper)
- The angular, edgy guard emphasises the G/S’s aggressive off-road look – especially when combined with other metal parts from our Dakar range.

Material & Manufacture

The brake caliper guard is made entirely in Germany. It is crafted from 2 mm stainless steel, then welded, the weld seams ground down and finally powder-coated in black.

2 mm stainless steel is exactly the right thickness: sturdy enough to withstand a decent stone chip without adding unnecessary weight to the motorbike.

Fitting

Fitting is quick and easy. All the necessary fitting materials and a fitting guide are included in the delivery.
