In eigener Sache. Wir werden häufig gefragt warum wir nicht WILBERS + Touratech Federbeine anbieten. Nachdem wir sie getestet , zerlegt und ausgiebig gefahren haben, hat und das Ansprechverhalten einfach nicht zu 100% überzeugt und bieten sie daher nicht an und verkaufen nur Bilstein und Öhlins.
GABELFEDERN. Nach unseren Erkenntnissen und ausgiebigen Fahrversuchen, macht es aus unserer Sicht wenig Sinn die Originalen Gabelfedern gegen Zubehör Gabelfedern zu tauschen. Es sei denn das Fahrergewicht weicht sehr deutlich vom Mittelmass ab.
A pair of CNC machined aluminum caps for all BMW R nineT models with Tele fork. Matching our BMW Milled series, there are now also the fork crown caps. These replace the rather simple silver caps on the R9T fork.
The caps are easily replaced within a few minutes against the original. To install the fork does not have to be removed (it must only be relieved, for example, in which the motorcycle is jacked up, or pulled by a second man on the side stand) and no special tools are needed. The Milled caps are manufactured in a very noble Black Pearl surface. That is, they are blasted before the black anodize, Glasperenl. This gives its very fine, slightly matte surface which feels and looks very high quality.

Hyperpro Black Line steering damper kit (with bracket) with ABE.
All BMW R nineT models have a steering damper (which is much too hard) installed from the factory. This ensures an extremely poor and sluggish steering response. With an adjustable steering damper, which you can set much softer than the original, this problem is solved. We can only warmly recommend to every R nineT rider to install a new steering damper. The bike rides much better afterwards.
The Hyperpro steering damper has 75mm stroke and is adjustable in 24 clicks. The damper is a linear CSC damper.
Comes with ABE, so does not need to be registered.
A pair of aluminium standpipe covers with integrated LED turn signals for BMW R nineT.
These very high-quality fork covers ensure that the mismatching chrome on the fork disappears and that the fork appears thicker (like an upside down fork). In addition, tiny LED turn signals are integrated into the covers. This does away with the large original turn signals and gives the nineT a really nice clean front.The turn signals are E-numbered and also comply with the prescribed minimum distance (so they are Stvo compliant and legal).
The tubes are elaborately turned on a CNC lathe, have guides for the cables and rubber rings milled into them from the inside. On the outside they have a small flat surface on which the mini LED turn signals are mounted.After that, the covers are glass bead blasted and then anodised either silver or black. This gives the covers a very high-quality matt finish.
The covers are supplied with detailed step-by-step assembly instructions, cable solder connectors, heat shrink tubing and resistors (which are required for some models)

Öhlins Retro Ø43mm / 800mn long for R nineT Scrambler & Urbans GS.
Öhlins offers beside their world famous upside down fork also a classic telescopic fork to convert bikes like the R9T to a high end fork without too much effort.Another advantage is that the classic style is preserved.
The forks are fully adjustable in spring preload, compression and rebound (more is not possible). The fork is the absolute best you can fit into your R9T.
To mount it on the R nine T you will need a mounting kit (see accessories in this description). The kit includes Brake caliper adapter, front wheel axle, fender mount. With this kit you have everything you need to install the fork Plug & Play in the R9T Scrambler or Urban GS.
The fork as well as the adapter set are delivered WITHOUT parts certificate. A technical drawing from Öhlins is included with the fork.We also provide a sample registration from Dekra, on which the fork is registered per §21 (single approval) on an Urban GS.
Öhlins delivers the fork with a 9,5NM spring, which is Öhlins typical quite tight (depends on the weight of the rider). If you wish, we can also use a different spring for an extra charge.

Covers for the original reflectors on the fork of all BMW R nine T models. Reflectors are mandatory!
Who likes the striking orange reflectors on the fork? Right, nobody! First thought - just take them off! BUT BMW doesn't do them for fun. Unfortunately, it is now mandatory to have such a reflector on your motorcycle. Without it there is no TÜV anymore!
These black covers milled from aluminium are the perfect compromise. Because they look classy, enhance the motorcycle and hide the eye-catching reflectors. The covers are simply put over the reflectors and fixed with a grub screw (at the bottom). So they are on and off within a few seconds.So they can be unscrewed for the TÜV or when you come to a check up and everything is ok.
The covers are available in 3 versions:Silver: Aluminium raw / you can either just leave it like that or polish it with aluminium polish with a few minutes work. Bilstein-RAISCH suspension strut for the BMW R nine T series. With adjustable rebound and compression damping, adjustable preload incl. height adjustment +15 mm.
The basic length of the strut is 370 mm. The original strut of the R9T Classic / Pure / Racer / nine T/5 has 370 mm. The R9T Scrambler and the R9T G/S have a 375 mm long shock absorber. With this damper you don't lose any travel due to the built-in height adjustment (this is not always the case with other suppliers). A height adjustment of 15 mm on the shock absorber has an effect on the rear height with a lever ratio of 2.86 times. This makes the motorcycle easier to handle and increases the freedom from leaning. Theoretically the straight-line stability suffers. In practice, however, you can't feel it, as extensive tests have proven. If you set the shock to 385 mm, this results in a clearly visible increase of the rear, which is really good for a nice Scrambler look.
This shock absorber is based on a completely new technology in the motorcycle sector. The rebound and compression stages are in one housing, without an external reservoir. Advantage of this technology: Very short flow paths because the oil does not have to flow through the expansion tank first.Effect: faster response to the smallest unevenness, resulting in enormous comfort. Since this strut does not come from a modular system, where fixed piston housing lengths are usually required, we were able to achieve approx. 20% more stroke than with other struts.
The rebound and compression stages are adjustable in ten stages with clear clicks. The difference between the damping stages can be clearly experienced. We have deliberately avoided a 20 or 30-fold adjustment range.
We have four different spring rates at our disposal, so that every rider weight can be covered. Since some riders occasionally ride in pairs, the weight should always be the gross weight of the solo rider including clothing and helmet. The Bilstein shock absorber has enough reserves; keyword "more stroke" to ride with a passenger from time to time. If it is only short distances, simply increase the pressure level with a few clicks. For longer rides you should also increase the preload. The accessibility of the spring preload is good, so that an adjustment with a hook wrench can be done quickly.
The suspension strut is protected against water and dirt with high-quality sealing blocks from the cross area.
The Bilstein strut is the lightest R9T strut on the market with only 2.7kg. Keyword: Unsprung masses! The original strut of the R9T Classic weighs 4.8kg - saving 2.1kg, the Scrambler, Urban GS, Racer, Pure weighs 3.9kg - saving 1.2kg.

Since many people don't like the gold fork on the R9T, we looked for a way to get it reasonably black without having to buy a complete Öhlins fork. We offer a very high-quality black anodising for the fork tubes, which give the bike a completely different look.
For this, the dismantled, disassembled & cleaned fork tubes have to be sent to us. Or you can choose the assembly option, in which case you simply send us the dismantled fork, we disassemble it here on site and then reassemble it after anodising. Directly with better oil, which improves the response of the fork.
Anodising & shipping takes between 6 - 10 weeks. If that takes too long, you can opt for new stanchions, which we have in stock (see similar items in this description).

Öhlins steering damper for all BMW R nineT models.
Since the original steering damper of all R9T models is much too hard and has no adjustment, the motorcycle can only be turned very ponderously. Therefore, it is highly recommended to install a steering damper with adjustment and to set this relatively soft. This makes the motorcycle much easier to handle. If you want to test this, you can simply remove the original damper and go for a ride (then you will immediately notice how much better the bike rides). You just can not leave it permanently, because the operating license expires without Lenkunksdämpfer.
The steering dampers are supplied with ABE. So these do not have to be registered at the TÜV.
CNC-milled aluminum crash pads from Rizoma.
Unfortunately, crashing your motorcycle is always an unpleasant topic. In the event of a crash, the fork and swingarm of the motorcycle are always the first to come into contact with the asphalt. To protect the fork in the event of a fall, we recommend fitting crash pads to the fork legs. As crash pads often do not look attractive, Rizoma offers the solution here. The application of HKS GGV completely eliminates the so-called telescopic fork breakaway torque. The smallest bumps and the like are no longer transmitted from the unsprung part of the telescopic fork to the motorcycle. The result: silky smooth, supple handling and the safest possible ground contact. A noticeable benefit! In combination with a HKS extremely lubricated chain results in a "buttery smooth ride"!!!
