Classicbike-Raisch Rear-Weck Kit for Thruxton 1200 - R - RS - TFC / Version 2: Turn signals are mounted on the licence plate holder (StvO compliant)
This is how clean and tidy the rear of a CafeRacer should look. Precisely manufactured from aluminium and black powder coated.
The rear underpanel (lower shell) provides good splash protection. LED number plate lighting with E-number is also included. A plug is also supplied that fits into the original wiring harness. This means that only the indicators, lights etc. need to be crimped and can then be connected without having to change anything in the wiring harness.
All other cables, plugs, screws etc. that are required for installation are of course also included in the scope of delivery.
Since the HeckWeck kit does NOT have a central tail light, it is absolutely necessary to have 3in1 turn signals (these combine turn, tail & brake light in one indicator).
Further down in this description you can order the turn signals as a set and get a 10% discount on the turn signals.
All the turn signals listed here have an E-number and are road legal.
The conversion is easy even for inexperienced mechanics (as we include detailed installation instructions). Resistors are not necessary, as the flashing frequency can be adjusted via the menu.
Version 2 of our HeckWeck kit is street legal, but not as clean as version 1.
With this version 1 the turn signals are mounted inside the suspension struts, this version is not street legal because the turn signals are too far in the rear, but it looks cool. (See similar articles in this description).
Both versions do NOT have to be registered with the TÜV.
If you don't dare to do the wiring for the lights yourself or simply don't feel like it, you can order the ready-made wiring (see accessories in this description).
Suitable indicators for the front can be found further down in the accessories section of this description.
If you want to have it 100% correct for TÜV & police, you can order a reflector (see accessories).
We also recommend ordering our number plate screw set to mount the number plate nicely (see accessories).
