The Relax footrest kit enables relaxed cruising on the Triumph. Perfect for relaxed riders, people with knee problems and especially for long tours.Also serves as engine protection.
The kit offers the option of positioning the feet in two different positions. 1. in the original position 2. further forward on the motor
The front relax rests ensure a very relaxed knee angle, as the rider can stretch his legs out completely. If you place your calves on the rests instead of your feet, you can also stretch your legs out completely.
Who doesn't know this from riding a motorcycle, whether due to knee problems or simply a very long ride. At some point, your knee hurts and you long for a different position.The Relax footrests are the solution! Simply fold down the hinged rests on the engine block, put your legs forward and relax!
When folded down, the rests are barely noticeable. A small but nice side effect of the footrests is that they also serve as engine protection. In the event of a fall, the footrests or the adapter plates are placed on first and thus protect the engine cover a little.

These noble but still, very massive footrests are supplied as a whole set for front & rear (so 4 rests) or only for the driver (so 2 rests).

The nice thing about these footpegs is that no additional footpeg adapter is needed, as with most other pegs. Footrest & adapter are one part.
The LSL Ergonia footrest is made of forged aluminium, finely bead blasted and finely milled on the upper side, resulting in a very noble surface finish.
Optically, the footrests are an absolute eye-catcher, the fine but not too pointed teeth provide a light cross ratchet look.
With a length of 80mm, the rests offer the perfect compromise between comfort (wide support) and sportiness (not too fast to put on). The rubber insert of the footrests can be easily removed (see photo of the green footrest). Visually, the footrest looks even more radical without the rubber. With rubber perfect for comfort and touring, without rubber for the sporty ride and aggressive look.

Simply shift up a gear under full load and the automatic takes over the work for you. You can't shift any faster!However, it is also very pleasant when driving relaxed through the city to not have to pull the clutch every time you shift up. I find it especially pleasant when you accelerate a bit faster from 20 km/h to e.g. 70-80 km/h and you can shift through gear by gear in a relaxed way.
For all those who don't know what an automatic gearshift does. This interrupts the ignition during the shifting process (only when shifting up gears). This allows you to shift up the gears without pulling the clutch & without taking away the gas.

The original footrest does not offer a comfortable position? Then the adjustable cross rest is the ideal solution. An ingenious system, consisting of rotating elements with firmly intermeshing teeth, allows 36 possible variations. The position of the footrest can be adjusted upwards and downwards, forwards and backwards and in terms of inclination to suit individual requirements. A model-specific General Operating License (ABE) is available.
