Product information "Sprocket Nuts Stainless Steel SW & SI"
No more scruffy chain ball nuts. The black nuts are outside made of aluminium and have a stainless steel thread core, the silver nuts are completely made of stainless steel.
They can be simply pressed against the original steel nuts, which are not particularly beautiful from the surface.
Fits in black especially well to the chainrings we sell, because they are always black.

Thruxton 1200 / Speed Twin:Tip: In our opinion, the Thruxton & Speed Twin models have a pretty suitable gear ratio ex works. However, if you want to go even shorter, we recommend the 44 tooth chainring. For a slightly longer ratio, we would go for a 40 tooth chainring and / or a 17 tooth sprocket.
Scrambler 1200:Tip: In our opinion, the Scrambler 1200 models have a suitable gear ratio ex works. But if you want it even shorter, for even more punch off-road, we recommend the 46 tooth chainring. For a slightly longer ratio, we would go for a 42 tooth chainring and / or a 17 tooth sprocket.
About the Enuma chain: Enuma chain 525 MVXZ2, the absolute highest quality chain on the market! There is cheaper, but nothing better. Thanks to the Quadra-X rings, this chain offers a significantly improved service life compared to the O-ring chains used by the motorbike manufacturer and the X-ring chains from other accessory manufacturers. They prevent the ingress of dirt and moisture in the best possible way and provide additional grease chambers.Caution! A screw lock must be ordered separately (see accessories). A rivet lock is included in the scope of delivery.

The original motorcycles have shorter gear ratios: Bonneville T120 37 teeth / Bobber 37 teeth (much too long gear ratio) / Thruxton 1200 & Speed Twin 42 teeth Motorcycle runs much better with the shorter gear ratio over the complete rev range (maximum speed is also not lost). And just below the bike it pushes again differently.In addition, the chainring is black and looks even better.An absolute recommendation from us!Attention at Bonneville T120: Triumph has changed the swingarm length of some models (Thruxton & Speed Twin NOT affected) over the years (new models have longer swingarms).Who has a longer swingarm can only use the 42 chainring in combination with a longer chain (this can be ordered from us on request). As an alternative to the 42er chainring you can also use a 16er sprocket 40er chainring, which results in almost the same transmission ratio as the 42er chainring.You can simply measure if you have installed the long or short swingarm on your motorcycle (see the product photos).Attention at Bobber & Speedmaster: If a side plate holder is installed on the motorcycle (e.g. from our program), then the original chain is only sufficient for the 40er chainring. Original have the bikes: a 41er chainring outside, which is clearly too long. With the conversion to a 44er chainring, the motorcycles have noticeably more pressure from below. The bike runs much better with the shorter gear ratio over the entire engine speed range (maximum speed is not lost).

Translation tips:
Models with 37 teeth: This gear ratio is clearly too short! With a shorter one, the acceleration, traction and top speed are increased. In addition, the motorcycle rides at 50-60 (city speed) much more relaxed, because the constant Fahrruckeln is significantly less.
Models with 42 teeth: This gear ratio is well chosen ex works. Who would like to have it still somewhat sportier, which can make itself the 44er on it.
Models with 44 teeth: Is an already quite sporty chosen, short transmission. Who wants to have it a little more suitable for long distances, we recommend the 42er chainring to install.
The dual sprockets are the highest quality and technically advanced sprockets in the world. The secret is based on the combination of the durability of steel and the lightness of aluminum. The outer rim of the sprocket is made of steel (to ensure long life), the inner one of aluminum (to save weight).The central parts are manufactured with high precision on CNC mills and are coated with a thick anodized film that prevents oxidation. Based on experience, Stealth sprockets last about three times longer than pure aluminum sprockets.
The steel sprockets for our Twins are at least 20% heavier than the Stealth chainrings (especially with rotating masses, every gram falls into the weight!).
