Classicbike-Raisch short aluminium front mudguard for Triumph Speed Twin 1200

Just like the Thruxton R / RS, the Euro 5 Speed Twin is fitted with a very wide mudguard and bulky plastic brackets. Such a bulky front mudguard does not exactly emphasise the sporty lines of the Speed Twin.
In order to make the front wheel area of the Speed Twin more filigree and harmonious with the motorbike, we have designed minimalist aluminium brackets, which are manufactured in Germany and powder-coated in black.
In addition, a beautifully short / narrow, 300mm long aluminium mudguard with a flared edge is installed. The mudguard is significantly flatter over the tyre than the original and is also much narrower, so that the tyre is more visible.
We also offer the mudguard set as a cafe racer version with a 500mm mudguard (see similar items in this description).

The mudguard is supplied with a black bracket.

The fender is optionally available in polished, matt brushed or black powder-coated.
Also ideal for painting, but it is best to talk to your trusted painter beforehand about whether he would like the wing in polished aluminium or better coated in black (as the coating is a bit like a primer, i.e. you should not expect a smooth surface as with a paint job).

Black high gloss powder coated: Due to the extremely high-quality powder used, this coating comes very close to a glossy black paint finish (see photos)!
However, you should not expect a 110% perfect surface as you would from a painter who primed and sanded the mudguard beforehand.

The last photos are examples to show the difference between matt and gloss black.
