The benches are produced in small series and completely handcrafted here in Germany. We have deliberately chosen a very high quality artificial leather (with grain looks like real leather!) for the bench, as it is more durable & easier to clean. In addition, artificial leather bleaches hardly to not at all and retains its dark black. The upholstery is made of various high-quality foam materials (sandwich construction) to provide the highest possible seating comfort.The seat base plate is made of extremely high-quality and stiff plastic. Thus the plate can be kept very thin, whereby the seat is beautifully flat, does not become unnecessarily heavy and is nevertheless completely stable.
Due to the very narrow seat base plate, the original retaining eyes in the middle of the frame have to be cut off (see the last product photos). Even without these eyelets, the original seat can still be mounted normally, without shaking or anything else. We recommend to dab the frame at the interface with a black varnish to prevent rust.

The materials chosen for the base is a high quality fiberglass. The cover is one of the finest imitation leather you can get (are from shipbuilding). These look and feel almost like real leather. ATTENTION: for mounting it is mandatory to cut off the two holding tabs left & right on the frame (see pictures). Otherwise it is not possible to install such a beautiful slim seat. Even without the tabs can you original seat again be installed easily & safely. Since nothing wobbles or slips. We have already thousands of kilometers so on our own Thruxton. The security over the closure + front on the tank connection is more than enough.

Die Thruxton 1200 hat einen wunderschönen Heckrahmen mit Rundbogen, nur man sieht nichts davon! Eine absolute Schande. Also haben wir es uns zur Aufgabe gemacht eine schlanke und kurze Sitzbank zu bauen, die den Heckrahmen der Thruxton komplett frei legt. Das Ergebnis ist eine schmalere Linie und ein Heck, das seines gleichen sucht (besonders in Verbindung mit dem HeckWeck Kit, siehe Zubehörartikel in dieser Beschreibung). Bilder sagen hier mehr als Worte.Da nicht jeder den gleichen Geschmack in Sachen Leder, Bezug, Form etc hat verkaufen wir die Sitzgrundplatte auch einzeln. Mit der Sitzplatte kann man dann einfach zu dem Sattler seines Vertrauens gehen und sich was schönes machen lassen.Die Fotos sind dann nur Bespiele was möglich wäre.
Die Sitzgrundplatte ist aus extrem hochwertigem und steifem Kunststoff gefertigt. Dadurch kann die Platte sehr dünn gehalten werden, wodurch die Sitzbank schön flach ist, nicht unnötig schwer wird und trotzdem völlig stabil ist.
Aufgrund der sehr schmalen Sitzgrundplatte, müssen die originalen Halteösen in der Mitte des Rahmens abgeschnitten werden (siehe die letzten Produktfotos). Auch ohne diese Ösen kann die originale Sitzbank weiter ganz normal, ohne wackeln oder sonstiges montiert werden. Wir empfehlen den Rahmen an der Schnittstelle mit einem schwarzen Lack nach zu tupfen, um Rost vorzubeugen.

Eine neu gestaltete, minimalistische Sitzhalterung mit zwei einstellbaren Positionen, die den Sitz um bis zu 4 cm absenkt und der Bobber eine völlig neue Fahrzeuglinie verleiht. Handgefertigt aus Edelstahl, präzise mit Wig verschweißt und abschließend schwarz pulverbeschichtet.Made in Germany by KRT Framework.
Das DropSeat-Kit eliminiert einen optischen Makel, der Marvin von KRT gleich ein Dorn im Auge war als er die Bobber das erste mal gesehen hat: Der originale Sitz ist bequem und fahrfreundlich, der große Abstand zwischen Sitz und Heckfender für unser Empfinden aber unschön. Auch wenn die Bobber keinen Starrahmen hat wie ihr Vorbild aus den 50ern, sollte der Sitz etwas tiefer und damit näher am Hinterrad positioniert sein, um ein stimmiges Gesamtbild zu ergeben. Deshalb entschieden wir uns, das Problem anzugehen, ohne die Grundidee einer Bobber zu verändern.Außerdem entfällt der unschöne, nach hinten überstehendem Teil der originalen Sitzhalterung.
Das Ergebnis ist unser DropSeat-Kit. Eine neue Sitzhalterung mit zwei einstellbaren Höhen. Die erste Position entspricht nahezu der originalen, die zweite Stellung bringt eine 4 cm-Tieferlegung mit sich. Bequem zu fahren ist sie trotzdem (natürlich kommen hier Körpergröße und Physiognomie zum Tragen). So kannst du ohne Originalteile bei Bedarf den Sitz wieder höher legen – z.B. für längere Touren.
Das DropSeat-Kit wird aus Edelstahl gefertigt, selbst wenn die Pulverbeschichtung beschädigt wird, musst du Rost also nicht fürchten. Besonders wichtig für diejenigen, die ohne oder mit sehr kurzen Kotflügeln fahren. Um die Haftung der Pulverbeschichtung bei häufiger Verstellung der Sitzposition zu gewährleisten, wird das Kit vor dem Beschichten sandgestrahlt.
Die visuelle Wirkung des DropSeat-Kits entfaltet sich besonders eindrucksvoll in Verbindung mit einem kompakten Sitz wie dem Triumph Statement Sitz. Unsere Sitzhalterung zeichnet sich zudem dadurch aus, dass sie sich elegant in das Heck einfügt und nicht, wie die Originalhalterung, hinten unter dem Sitz hervorsteht.Passt auch mit allen anderen Zubehör Sitzen für die Bobber.
