Upgrade to LED headlight bulbs!
This LED conversion kit from Philips (consisting of LED main headlight bulb & LED parking light bulb) turns your simple H4 headlight into a bright LED headlight with elegant white light.
Of course, you can't expect the same effect from this as from a complete LED headlight insert.
But you can convert your H4 headlamp to a much brighter LED headlamp for a small mark and retain the classic look (complete LED inserts are not everyone's cup of tea either).
Take a look at the difference between the original bulbs and the LED bulbs in the product images.
Classicbike-Raisch Kit:
Due to the CanBus system installed on the BMW R nineT motorbikes, the bulbs cannot simply be replaced with the original ones, otherwise error messages will be displayed in the speedometer.
To solve this problem, we supply a complete kit consisting of
- LED bulb main headlight
- LED bulb parking light
- CanBus resistor for main headlights
- Resistor parking light
- 2x current thief
- Installation instructions
The bulb has already been tested on several motorbikes and is also approved for them. Unfortunately, the R9T is not yet on the list. However, new models are regularly added by Phillips. (See here for the list of tested motorbikes: Click on Download Bike List below the description).
However, our experience has shown that you can install the bulbs without hesitation, because A nobody checks this and B it only provides more safety.
It may also be possible to have the bulbs registered.
With up to 230% brighter light than a conventional H4 bulb and a daylight-like white beam, these LED bulbs illuminate everything clearly without dazzling oncoming drivers.
