Front sprocket 1200ccm

Product information "Front sprocket 1200ccm "

Front chain sprocket with 16 or 17 teeth (please select). The original 1200ccm engines have 17 sprockets (except the Thruxton 1200 which has 16 teeth ex works).

For those who want to gear their bike a bit shorter (highly recommended) we recommend a larger black chainring.

Sprocket Dual 1200cc engines CB11567M / RS1
Dual sprocket with 42 teeth for all water-cooled Triumphs with 1200 cc engine. ATTENTION: For Euro 5 vehicles, the ECU must be reprogrammed if the transmission ratio is changed. This requires the OBD Bluetotth adapter + the Tune ECU programme (the Bluetotth adapters can be found under the accessories in this description). Standard gear ratio Modell Kettenblatt Ritzel Bonneville T120 37 Zähne 17 Zähne Thruxton 1200 42 Zähne 16 Zähne Thruxton 1200 R - RS / Speed Twin 42 Zähne 16 Zähne Speed Twin 42 Zähne 16 Zähne Bobber 37 Zähne 17 Zähne Bobber Black 16" 37 Zähne 17 Zähne Speedmaster 1200 37 Zähne 17 Zähne Scrambler 1200 XC / XE 44 Zähne   16Zähne     Translation tips: Models with 37 teeth: This gear ratio is clearly too short! With a shorter one, the acceleration, traction and top speed are increased. In addition, the motorcycle rides at 50-60 (city speed) much more relaxed, because the constant Fahrruckeln is significantly less. Models with 42 teeth: This gear ratio is well chosen ex works. Who would like to have it still somewhat sportier, which can make itself the 44er on it. Models with 44 teeth: Is an already quite sporty chosen, short transmission. Who wants to have it a little more suitable for long distances, we recommend the 42er chainring to install. The dual sprockets are the highest quality and technically advanced sprockets in the world. The secret is based on the combination of the durability of steel and the lightness of aluminum. The outer rim of the sprocket is made of steel (to ensure long life), the inner one of aluminum (to save weight). The central parts are manufactured with high precision on CNC mills and are coated with a thick anodized film that prevents oxidation. Based on experience, Stealth sprockets last about three times longer than pure aluminum sprockets. The steel sprockets for our Twins are at least 20% heavier than the Stealth chainrings (especially with rotating masses, every gram falls into the weight!). In addition, there is the unique optics.

Sprocket 1200ccm CB11187.4 / RS1
Chain Ring: 46
Chainring for 1200ccm engines with 525 chains 44, 42, 40 or 37 teeth. ATTENTION: For Euro 5 vehicles, the ECU must be reprogrammed if the transmission ratio is changed. This requires the OBD Bluetotth adapter + the Tune ECU programme (the Bluetotth adapters can be found under the accessories in this description). Please check beforehand in the Tune ECU program whether it is possible to set your desired gear ratio (not every gear ratio is possible on all models) The original motorcycles have shorter gear ratios: Bonneville T120 37 teeth / Bobber 37 teeth (much too long gear ratio) / Thruxton 1200 & Speed Twin 42 teeth Motorcycle runs much better with the shorter gear ratio over the complete rev range (maximum speed is also not lost). And just below the bike it pushes again differently. In addition, the chainring is black and looks even better. An absolute recommendation from us!Attention at Bonneville T120: Triumph has changed the swingarm length of some models (Thruxton & Speed Twin NOT affected) over the years (new models have longer swingarms).Who has a longer swingarm can only use the 42 chainring in combination with a longer chain (this can be ordered from us on request). As an alternative to the 42er chainring you can also use a 16er sprocket 40er chainring, which results in almost the same transmission ratio as the 42er chainring. You can simply measure if you have installed the long or short swingarm on your motorcycle (see the product photos).Attention at Bobber & Speedmaster: If a side plate holder is installed on the motorcycle (e.g. from our program), then the original chain is only sufficient for the 40er chainring. If you still want the 42 chainring, you have to buy a longer chain from us. Is available on request.
