Lithium ion POWER battery

Skyrich lithium-ion power battery with extra power. For the weight fetishists among motorcyclists.
The power battery has more vapour than the original battery and starts your bike more reliably. Even if the cylinder is in a bad position (e.g. TDC) and the normal battery would not manage to turn the engine, the Power battery will not let you down.
The battery also has more capacity.

ATTENTION: Due to shipping regulations, we are only allowed to deliver batteries to certain countries (see list of countries at the end of the description). We do not ship batteries to all other countries.

The battery weighs just 1.5kg. This saves between 2 - 4 kg depending on the battery installed. There is no easier way to save weight on your machine.

Attention for air-cooled Triumph Bonneville AC models built 2008-2009: These models have a different battery box and need a different battery (you can find these in the accessories articles in this description). You can recognise this by the fact that your battery has the designation YT12BS (WITHOUT X).

Another major advantage of lithium batteries is their extremely low self-discharge rate (maximum 5% per month). Our experience has shown that it is even lower.

Lithium-ion battery with overvoltage protection from Skyrich

Skyrich is a premium manufacturer and series supplier for well-known manufacturers such as KTM and Ducati.

The Power Sports lithium-ion batteries in the LTM line are characterised by a heat-resistant, waterproof nylon housing and improved terminal connections

Overcharge Protection (OP)

The Skyrich battery has an extended battery management system (BMS) which, in addition to the balancers (ensures even charging/discharging of the battery), also includes overvoltage protection. This prevents the battery from being charged with a voltage of over 14.9V.

Spacer (S)

The battery is fitted with one or more spacers, which are glued under the battery using the adhesive strip supplied, so that the battery fits exactly into the battery box.

Waterproof (WP)

The battery is completely waterproof and will not be damaged if the motorbike is cleaned under high pressure.

Indicator (I)

All batteries are equipped with an improved state of charge indicator, which displays the battery's state of charge even more precisely.

Replacing a standard lead-acid battery with a Skyrich lithium-ion battery can save up to 5 kg in weight without significant effort.

Due to their specific properties, lead-acid batteries can only utilise 30% of their capacity, whereas lithium-ion batteries can utilise almost 100% of their capacity.

For this reason, the lithium versions of Skyrich batteries require only 1/3 of the capacity of a comparable lead-acid battery for the same starting power.

The dimensions of the lithium-ion batteries correspond to the dimensions of the original lead-acid batteries with the help of adapters.

The connections are also identical, which is why the battery can be replaced in just a few minutes without any further adjustments.

Please note that only suitable chargers may be used for charging. We recommend JMP chargers.
Please refer to the technical data below for the maximum recommended charging currents.

Under no circumstances should chargers be used that attempt to desulphate deeply discharged batteries below 10 volts with a voltage of more than 14.9 volts before starting the actual charging process.
The manufacturer guarantees sufficient starting capacity down to -5 degrees Celsius.

Technology
Skyrich lithium-ion batteries use iron phosphate (LiFePO4) as the cathode material and utilise the lithium polymer process in their manufacture. This means that they cannot burst into flames or explode during normal operation.
The technology and manufacturing process ensure the highest safety standard for lithium batteries.
