Short air intake cover kit for BMW R nineT
The original, long intake snorkel of the BMW R nineT models is somehow part of the classic look - but to be honest: not everyone likes it.
On some bikes, it almost looks like a foreign object and simply doesn't fit nicely to the shape of the tank.
Our good friend Marvin from KRT Framework has thought of exactly that - and developed a much more harmonious solution.
With this short intake kit, you can replace the original snorkel, which is far too long, with a compact, clean version that fits perfectly to the shape of your R nineT's tank.
The result: a much more harmonious, sporty and compact look.
Technology & function
The inner snorkel included in the kit continues to ensure that cool ambient air and airstream are drawn in - not the warm stagnant air below the tank.
Top look - function remains fully intact.
The snorkel is made from 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, TIG welded and powder-coated in black satin finish.
It is very easy to replace with the original part.
No adjustments, no drilling, no stress - your R nineT can be retrofitted at any time.
Unlike other manufacturers, the original inner snorkel does not have to be cut off (i.e. retrofitting is possible at any time).
The entire kit is painstakingly handcrafted in Germany.
Carbon fibre air intake cover
The matching air intake cover is manufactured from carbon fibre using the infusion process - just like in professional motorsport.
Clean workmanship, high-quality surface, perfect fit.

Mounting
Fastened in the same way as the original:
On the snorkel and at the two original screw connection points. Plug & play - without any adjustments.
The cover integrates perfectly into the shape of the tank and makes the R nineT look sportier and more compact overall.
