Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde– arguably the best-known manufacturer ofvalve-controlled, road-legal motorbike exhaust systems.

What does valve control mean?

AllJekill & Hyde systems come with an electronically controlled valve in the rear silencer. This allows you to ride your BMW R9T legally in three different sound modes – from pleasantly quiet to a really lovely, deep, bass-heavy tone.
And yes – the sound is truly exceptional for a legal system. We’ve heard it live on many bikes – simply fantastic.

PLEASE NOTE

Models that do not come with an overhead exhaust as standard require an additional exhaust bracket, and the original passenger rear frame must be removed.
You can find a suitable bracket amongst the accessories listed in this product description.

This Unit Garage exhaust bracket allows you to mount your exhaust when you want to remove the pillion frame. Not everyone rides their nineT as a pair. It makes sense to remove the pillion frame for visual reasons. Since the holder for the original exhaust is integrated into the frame, this holder is needed here. The holder is also needed to mount the top-mounted Unit Garage exhaust on the Scrambler if no pillion frame is installed.
