Technology

A catridge insert replaces virtually all internal parts (including the spring) of an original fork.
As a result, it is technically steered in the direction of an Öhlins high-end fork and works significantly better than the original.
Better tuned to you, better damping, finer response behaviour and breakaway torque.

Customised to you

If you order the cartridge from us and have it fitted, it will be perfectly customised to your rider weight and needs.

Please let us know in the comments section of your order (last step in the ordering process):
- Your weight (including motorbike clothing)
- Luggage weight (if permanently included)
- Your needs / riding characteristics (sporty / off-road / comfort etc.)

We will then select the right spring for you and adjust the spring preload / rebound & compression to suit you.

Necessary accessories

In addition to the cartridge, Öhlins fork springs and Öhlins fork oil are required.
Both can be found under the accessories below the product description.
Both must be ordered at the same time.

Assembly / installation
Recommendation

Have the cartridge professionally installed by us (Öhlins Service Partner). You can send us your fork legs for this:
Simply order the additional article "Installation Öhlins FKS fork cartridge".

Alternatively, you can arrange a fitting appointment at our workshop and come along with your motorbike.

Own assembly:
The cartridge is supplied with installation instructions. However, we and Öhlins advise against fitting without specialist knowledge and understanding of suspension technology - there is no support for fitting queries.

With ABE - no TÜV required

The Öhlins cartridge is supplied with ABE.
For you this means: install, adjust, ride. No TÜV registration required.

ATTENTION: STILL IN PREPARATION.
The ABE will be submitted as soon as available from Öhlins. Until then, the kit will be delivered with a clearance certificate from Öhlins.
