Seat base plate for RBH Tail Kit

The RBH rear frame kit, for BMW R nineT models, is handmade in Germany by our partner company KRT Frameworks. The kit visually continues the original round tube frame of the RnineT and closes the rear with a rear round arch frame loop, which gives the RnineT a very unique effect. The original cast aluminum frame triangles are omitted, making the seating area look tidier & narrower. We also have the matching, ready upholstered seat in the program, alternatively we also offer the unupholstered seat base plate, which you can have individually covered by the saddler of your choice (you can find under the accessories in this description). If you don't want to combine our rear frame with the central RBH license plate holder (see accessories in this description) but with the side holder from KRT, you can attach turn signal holders (included) in the rear area of the enclosed base plate. The base plate has suitable for this in the area of the turn signals cable bushings to lead the turn signal cable hidden upwards. If you decide for our version without recessed taillight, of course, 3 in 1 turn signals can be used here. The turn signal holders have an 8mm hole, so they are suitable for the common accessory turn signals.In addition, the bottom plate relocates the control unit and the OBD connector located in the front area a bit further up. The integrated brackets ensure a tidy, clearly structured cable routing and hold the components securely in their new place. This allows the bottom panel to be flush with the lower edge of the rear frame. You can also order the turn signals and other accessories as a set (some parts like the turn signals are then discounted). Besides a version without rear light, there are 3 versions with integrated rear light. Rear light version MONO: Recessed round LED taillight with 18mm diameter. Very discreet, yet extremely bright, of course with integrated brake light. With ABE. Taillight version SHORTY: Recessed 50mm wide and 8.5mm high SMD Technology based LED taillight / brake light, thus extremely bright. With ABE. Taillight version STRING: 120mm wide, 10mm high LED taillight adapted to the frame radius, form-fitted into the rear frame. Of course also with integrated brake light. With ABE.   If you drive an overhead exhaust system (eg original Scrambler, or accessories such as Unit Garage, etc.), we also have a suitable exhaust holder in the program. (see accessory article in this description) The rear frame is made of steel. The round tube is bent from one piece and welded in a welding jig, with the lasered and edged retaining plates. Housings are made for the tail lights, which are recessed into the frame loop and also TIG welded. After grinding these welds, the frame gets a tough black satin powder coat finish. The lower plates are made of 2mm thick aluminum sheets, then the brackets for the electronic components are riveted on and the threaded rivets for the turn signal holders are inserted. These are also powder coated in the same black as the frame. As accessories, we recommend you to order for easier assembly still turn signals and taillight plugs. In addition, the colored license plate screws still make very good. You can find them under the accessories in this description.
