FLAT Oil Temperature Gauge - Triumph

Product information "FLAT Oil Temperature Gauge - Triumph"

Oil temperature gauge for all Triumph Modern Classic models in the FLAT design

High quality, made in Germany by Ries Motorsport.

In our view, one of the most important gadgets for any motorbike!

The temperature gauge provides fairly accurate readings thanks to the oil spray (according to the manufacturer’s tests, the temperature is about 10% lower than actual; you simply need to add this to the reading).

The thermometer is simply fitted in place of the oil filler plug, putting it right in your line of sight when you glance down briefly.
Important note: An engine should only be run at full load once the oil temperature has reached approx. 70–80 degrees. You’d be surprised how long that can take, depending on the outside temperature.
Also, take care in traffic jams when it’s hot. Air-cooled engines sometimes need a break if it gets too hot. A quick glance down will tell you how things are.

As well as being practical, the oil gauge also looks really smart.
For those who prefer a slightly more classic look, we recommend the slightly taller gauges, which stand out more (see similar items below the description).

Oil temperature meter CB00286.1 / RS1
Dial Colour: White
Oil temperature gauge for all Triumph Modern Classic models.High Quality made in germany by Ries Motorsport. The temperature gauge achieves by splash oil quite good Messwerde (the temperature deviates according to manufacturer tests about 10% downward, this one must simply add on top). The thermometer is simply used in place of the oil plug and is thus very well in the field of view, if you look down briefly. Important note: An engine should not be fully loaded until the oil temperature reaches about 80 degrees. You'd be surprised how long that can take depending on the outside temperature. Also, be careful in traffic jams when it's hot. Air-cooled engines need a break when it gets too hot. A quick look down will tell you. In addition to the practical aspect, the oil knife also looks good.
