Upgrade to road-legal LEDs for excellent visibility
This LED conversion kit from Philips (3rd generation, with up to 450% brighter light) transforms your standard H4 headlamp into a bright LED headlamp with an elegant white light.
Of course, you cannot expect the same effect from this as you would from a complete LED headlamp conversion.
Take a look at the difference between the original bulbs and the LED bulbs in the product images.
But you can convert your H4 headlamp into a much brighter LED headlamp for a small sum, whilst retaining the classic look (full LED kits aren’t to everyone’s taste either).
The LED bulb has a built-in resistor, which ensures that no error is displayed on the on-board computer. The bulb also has a small fan on the back, which ensures that it doesn’t overheat.

To ensure a uniform white LED light throughout the headlight, we also recommend replacing the parking light bulb with an LED one. You’ll find the parking light bulb listed under the accessories in this product description.
Up to 450% brighter than a conventional H4 bulb and with a daylight-like white beam, these LED bulbs illuminate everything clearly without dazzling oncoming drivers.
Information on type approval:
The bulb has already been tested on a number of motorbikes and is approved for use on these (see here for a list of the tested motorbikes: click on ‘Download Bike List’ below the description).
However, the Philips LED bulb can also be fitted to all other Triumph models without any problems.
