YSS shock absorbers for air-cooled Triumph Modern Classic models with rebound adjustment 

 

YSS shock absorbers for Triumph Thruxton, Scrambler & Bonneville 790cc / 865cc

Base length 360 mm + height adjustment +/- 5 mm. Thruxton & Scrambler / for Bonneville (longer)

With individually adjustable rebound damping. 
As YSS often fits these shock absorbers with springs that are far too stiff for the aforementioned bike models as standard, Classicbike-Raisch offers the right springs for different weight categories. 
When placing an order, please therefore state the rider’s approximate weight (including motorcycling gear) – there is a comments field for this at the end of the ordering process.
We guarantee a perfectly fitting shock absorber, specifically tailored to each rider’s weight and requirements. 


The shock absorbers are suppliedwith ABE approval, so they do not need to be registered.

Classicbike-Raisch is a YSS service partner. We can carry out all servicing, repairs and other customer requests in-house. 


The shock absorber

With the YSS shock absorber, you get one of – if not the best – mid-range shock absorbers. A shock absorber offering absolutely excellent value for money, which is far superior to the original standard shock absorber. 

Just the thing for anyone who doesn’t want to spend a fortune and doesn’t need a premium or Öhlins shock absorber.

All YSS shock absorbers are supplied from the factory with unsightly stickers on the casing.
If you’d like to have these removed, you can order the relevant accessory (below the product description).

Remove YSS stickers CB13077 / RS
All YSS suspension struts are supplied from the factory with unsightly stickers on the housing. To remove the stickers, the spring must be pressed off the strut. Unfortunately, the stickers are very stubborn and have to be painstakingly removed. If you would like your shock absorber to look a little nicer and want the stickers removed, you can order this accessory here.

Shock absorber caps including stainless steel screws for the shock absorbers of all Triumph models.The turned caps are either made of aluminium (black anodised or polished) or brass. According to the manufacturer, the shock absorber screws must be replaced after a change. The caps also give a much more harmonious finish to the shocks and the unsightly original screws disappear. On the Thruxton, Speed Twin & Scrambler, only the two upper screws are replaced.

On the Thruxton, Speed Twin & Scrambler, only the top two bolts need to be replaced. ATTENTION NO BLACK SCREWSThe caps are supplied with silver stainless steel screws (as shown in the first picture).
