Wilbers high-end shock absorber with compression & rebound adjustment for Triumph Bobber


The Triumph Bobber models are clearly too hard ex works and have a very poorly responding shock absorber.
This, in combination with the very short spring travel due to the design, makes for uncomfortable riding behaviour.
For this reason, anyone who rides their bobber a lot and values comfort should fit a decent shock absorber.

If you want an absolute high-end shock absorber that can be customised even further, Wilbers Competition shock absorbers are just the thing for you.

The shock absorber is customised to your weight and delivered with a perfect fit.

The shock absorbers come with ABE for your motorbike (so they do not have to be registered with the TÜV).



About the shock absorber

The Wilbers Type 643 Competition QS shock absorber is a high-quality high-end shock absorber with all adjustment/individualisation options:
- Compression adjustment (in high & low speed)
- Rebound adjustment
- Equalising reservoir

The spring preload (which is of course preset to suit) is infinitely adjustable.
The rebound and compression stages can be adjusted in 22 clicks using the rotary knob.

Radial pistons, wet-running guide & Teflon-guided self-aligning bearings ensure a fine response behaviour.


Hydraulic spring preload (Wilbers-PA)
The hydraulic Wilbers PA allows you to adjust the spring preload very quickly and conveniently. This allows you to adjust the suspension very easily, e.g. for luggage payload or pillion operation.
A vehicle-specific bracket for the adjuster is included.
The adjustment can be adjusted by 10 mm with the PA.

Raisch Fork Cartridge Kit CB10969.1M.1 / RS-3
Model: Bobber 16" / Bobber Black
RAISCH fork cartridge conversion for various Triumph Modern Classic models. We completely convert your fork to a valve-controlled system with new fork springs (adjusted to the rider's weight). This transforms the simple standard fork, which partly works according to the old two-tube system, into a state-of-the-art fork with a fully adjustable cartridge system. The Speed Twin Euro 5 models are fitted with an upside-down fork ex works, but this does not work very well either (see some test reports in motorcycle magazines). Unfortunately, the standard fork is very tough and stiff. With our cartridge conversion, the fork works much more smoothly and sensitively, resulting in a great increase in comfort without sacrificing sportiness and performance, The rebound and compression damping are fully adjustable. The so-called rebound and compression damping is responsible for the rebound and compression speed of the fork. This means that the fork can really be adjusted to all conditions from soft to sporty and firm with just a few turns of the adjusters, resulting in a completely new riding experience. The adjustment range of the rebound and compression damping can really be described as large and effective, which is not really the case with all forks on the market. This conversion must be carried out by a specialist workshop with the appropriate expertise and special tools (e.g. a lathe is required for some models). For this reason, we only offer this conversion as a complete conversion in-house, including parts. You send us the two original damper tubes and everything is sent back to us ready for installation with new oil seals and special Öhlins oil for cartridge forks. Note on the Bobber / Speedmaster:On these motorcycles, the fork is lengthened by 10 mm when the cartridge is fitted. This slightly improves the lean angle clearance of your Triumph. If this is important to you or you need more ground clearance and lean angle clearance, we recommend our lift kit (can be found under accessories in this product description).   The price includes the installation of the cartridge at our premises!

Lifting kit for your Triumph Bobber – 4 cm more ground clearance for the footrests Who hasn't experienced this? With the Triumph Bobber, the footrests hit the ground far too early. The rider and machine could do more – but the footrests are in the way. With our Lifting Kit, this problem is a thing of the past. Your Bobber gets noticeably more lean angle and can finally be ridden sportily without the footrests constantly touching the asphalt. What is included in the kit? Öhlins shock absorber Bobber / Speedmaster CB11603M / RS2
Öhlins shock absorber for the Triumph Bobber / Bobber Black & Speedmaster with adjustable rebound damping. Customised to your weight! The original shock absorber on the Bobber and Speedmaster is simply far too hard and very uncomfortable (it also has no negative suspension travel). To avoid getting hit in the back with every small bump (which happens very quickly with the sitting position / body posture on the motorbike in conjunction with a bad shock absorber), you need to replace your shock absorber. The shock absorber is supplied with ABE. It therefore does not have to be registered with the TÜV.
