Short stainless steel exhaust system for Triumph Thruxton 1200 / Speed Twin 1200 - with E-number / approval

Ultra-short, beautifully beefy and with a really cool sound - the Grid stainless steel exhaust system is one of the shortest approved exhaust systems you can get for the sporty Triumph Modern Classic models.
A perfect fit for anyone who finds the original system too big, too well-behaved and simply too boring to look at.

The short design in combination with the grille on the exhaust gives the system a unique style.
The compact design makes the rear wheel rim much more visible without losing the classic 2-in-2 look. Just the right mix of modern sporty and classic.

Sound & DB - Killer

The Grid system delivers exactly the sound you want on a Thruxton or Speed Twin.
Deep, throaty and beautifully bassy - significantly more powerful and emotional than the standard system, without being unpleasantly loud.

In other words, exactly the kind of sound that is fun, but doesn't wake up all the neighbours every time you ride through town.

Removable DB killers

The exhaust system is supplied with removable DB killers.
So if you want a little more sound, you can easily remove them.
Particularly cool:
Thanks to the grille on the end piece, it is barely noticeable whether the DB killers are fitted or not.

Even more sound with X-pipe / cat replacement

If you want an even louder sound, you can also fit an X-pipe / cat replacement.
This makes the sound even more powerful and muffled.

Road approval

The Grid stainless steel exhaust system has an E number and is therefore approved for road traffic.

These X-Pipes replace the original Cat-Box / front silencer, which provides a much more pithy sound. In combination with an additional open exhaust system you get a really pithy, dull but also loud sound. That's exactly how a 2 cylinder must sound!In addition, there is a weight saving of 1.7 kg compared to the standard catbox. If the X-Pipe is not only about the more beautiful and louder sound, but also about noticeably more power, we advise you to use one of our power kits, in which the X-Pipe is included. Then the whole thing brings also a strongly noticeable performance gain. Click here for our performance kits. The original veneer can be used again, so that the X-Pipe is not optically noticeable.  Do NOT fit to Thruxton TFC!

These X-Pipes replace the original Kat-Box / front silencer, which provides a much more pithy sound. In combination with an additional open exhaust system, this results in a really throaty, dull but also loud sound.Also in combination with the original exhaust system you get a much more pithy sound.This is exactly how a 2 cylinder must sound!In addition, the original manifold connecting pipes that go from the cat box to the rear silencers are replaced.Additionally, the X-Pipe and the new manifold pipes result in a significant weight reduction.If you are not only interested in a more beautiful and louder sound, but also in noticeably more power, we advise you to install a large air filter cover and a sports air filter. In addition to that, you have to install a Power Commander and tune the bike on a test bench.The original paneling can be reinstalled, so that the X-Pipe doesn't attract attention.The installation of the X-Pipe / removal of the cat is not legal.
