Raisch Racing Camshaft 900ccm Engine
Our self-developed racing camshafts are "Made in Germany" and are produced from a blank using the latest CNC machines. (Not to be confused with cheaply produced camshafts made of cast material)
A special nitrided steel is used, which is then hardened to Rockwell HRC 60 to ensure durability.
Camshaft on the 900cc engines:
Attention, fits only the standard 55hp version and here only up to a certain chassis number (please ask by mail, stating the chassis number and model).
Our Racing camshaft has of course sharper control times than the serial camshaft. We achieve significantly more torque from the middle of the revs and therefore also a significantly higher peak power. In the low speed range we lose a little bit of torque, but this range you drive over without feeling it.
An assembly instruction for the camshaft is enclosed. In addition to the assembly of the camshaft we recommend further tuning measures such as a larger air passage, cat replacement pipe, sport exhaust and of course a new engine tuning. Some suppliers sell camshafts with the information that the motorcycle would adjust itself. These statements are absolute nonsense, since the electronics only have a very simple control circuit (jump probes) in the exhaust system and also have no mass air flow meter in the intake system. Therefore a mapping adjustment is necessary (Power Commander, ECU Flash). If you want to have it Plug & Play, you can use our ready made power kits.
For more information and performance data, see our Plug & Play Raisch Tuning Kits.
