Aluminium intake manifold - for Triumph Bonneville, Thruxton & Scrambler
These aluminium intake funnels replace the original rubber intake manifolds on the air filter box and are clearly designed for performance.
Not a show part, but a functional upgrade for all those who want to get more out of their engine.
Scope of delivery: 1 pair of intake funnels.
Straight intake path, optimum length
The fixed shape and optimised intake length result in a significantly cleaner air flow.
This brings:
- more torque
- noticeably better throttle response
- more power in the relevant speed range
This is particularly noticeable with Bonneville & Thruxton engines.
Technology & compatibility
Suitable for:
- original carburettors
- EFI injection manifolds
- Mikuni flat slide valve
With the FCR 39 carburettor, the aluminium nozzles must be slightly adapted.
Important:
This is not a plug & play solution.
Installation - not for quick screwdrivers
For the installation must:
- the air filter box must be removed
- the air filter box must be adapted
- the intake funnels must be adapted
Detailed assembly instructions are included.
If you know what you are doing, you will end up with a very effective setup.
