Due to the very short rear end of the Scrambler 1200, it is structurally almost impossible to maintain the prescribed 30° number plate angle and ensure that the number plate does not collide with the rear wheel during heavy suspension compression Our solution: a clever adjustable number plate mount. This allows you to angle the number plate slightly more steeply for everyday use – which looks much better.For an MOT or a roadside check, a quick adjustment to the number plate is all it takes to bring the angle into the legally correct position in seconds (see pictures). The built-in stop nuts ensure that the angle cannot be accidentally adjusted whilst driving.
