Dual sprocket with 42 teeth for all water-cooled Triumphs with 1200 cc engine.

ATTENTION: For Euro 5 vehicles, the ECU must be reprogrammed if the transmission ratio is changed. This requires the OBD Bluetotth adapter + the Tune ECU programme (the Bluetotth adapters can be found under the accessories in this description).

Translation tips:

  • Models with 37 teeth: This gear ratio is clearly too short! With a shorter one, the acceleration, traction and top speed are increased. In addition, the motorcycle rides at 50-60 (city speed) much more relaxed, because the constant Fahrruckeln is significantly less.
  • Models with 42 teeth: This gear ratio is well chosen ex works. Who would like to have it still somewhat sportier, which can make itself the 44er on it.
  • Models with 44 teeth: Is an already quite sporty chosen, short transmission. Who wants to have it a little more suitable for long distances, we recommend the 42er chainring to install.

The dual sprockets are the highest quality and technically advanced sprockets in the world.
The secret is based on the combination of the durability of steel and the lightness of aluminum. The outer rim of the sprocket is made of steel (to ensure long life), the inner one of aluminum (to save weight).
The central parts are manufactured with high precision on CNC mills and are coated with a thick anodized film that prevents oxidation.
Based on experience, Stealth sprockets last about three times longer than pure aluminum sprockets.

The steel sprockets for our Twins are at least 20% heavier than the Stealth chainrings (especially with rotating masses, every gram falls into the weight!).
