The MUD leather bag system is the perfect combination of functionality, old school leather bag look & absolute high end quality / workmanship.
The bags are handmade in Italy from very thick leather. A nice soft leather is used to get the casual hanging backpack look and to allow the height variable roll up closure.
Fastening system:
The best thing about these bags is that they not only look good, but they also have a very good & practical fastening system.
The bags have the SYS quick fastening system on the back. Thanks to this system, the bags can be attached to and removed from the motorcycle with a flick of the wrist and a click.
In addition to the bags, a motorcycle model-specific SW-Motech Legend Gear SLC luggage holder is required (you can find this under accessories in this product description).
Tip: If you already have a Legend Gear luggage system fitted to your motorcycle, you can simply replace your SW Motech bag with the MUD Bag.
Waterproof:
The leather of the bags is properly oiled at the factory, making the bags water-repellent. In other words, if you get caught in a rain shower, the bags will easily remain waterproof.
If you get caught in a really heavy downpour on a motorcycle tour, a waterproof rain cover is also included.
Additional belt pouch:
There is another small pocket on the front of the bag, this can also be removed if necessary and used as a belt pouch (very practical for storing expensive valuables, for example, that you don't want to leave on your motorcycle when visiting your favorite pub).
Magnetic fasteners:
Retro look paired with state-of-the-art magnetic fasteners!
The Mud Bag uses classic leather straps with belt buckles as fasteners. However, because such fasteners are not exactly practical, a modern magnetic fastening system is hidden under the belt buckles. The system can be opened and closed in a single movement.
The belt buckle therefore only serves as a fixed length adjustment for the leather strap.
Roll up closure / variable size:
To close the mud bag, it is rolled up at the top like a classic messenger bag.
This looks cool and allows you to make the bag bigger and smaller if necessary.
Thanks to the roll-up closure, the bag has a height of 35 to 45 cm.
Extra strap:
The bags are available with or without extra leather straps on the sides of the bag.
With the bag with the extra straps you can attach things to the left and right of the bag, such as a water bottle, a camera tripod or other things.
Inner lining:
A bright orange fabric was carefully chosen as the inner lining to make it easy to find your things in the bag. The contrasting and bright color really makes it much easier to find individual items. The inner lining is also washable.
