Dakar underrun protection from Classicbike-Raisch for all Triumph Scrambler 1200 models.

Materials & Manufacture: 

The skid plate is made entirely in Germany. It is laser-cut and folded at one of our partner companies in the region, then welded in-house (as can be seen in the photos, this ensures a very neat weld).
The precise manufacturing ensures an excellent fit, which makes installation easier.
The guard is made from 3 mm aluminium. This is the perfect thickness, offering sufficient protection without being unnecessarily heavy. Furthermore, aluminium is weather-resistant and cannot rust.


Protection & Design:

The engine guard not only looks rugged and stylish, it also provides genuine protection for your engine, frame and all other vital components in the lower section of the motorbike should you ever take a tumble. It’s definitely more than just a stone guard!
A proper scrambler definitely needs a solid engine guard, and that’s exactly what you get with the Dakar Protector.

Fitting:

Fitting is quick and easy. All the necessary fitting materials and fitting instructions are included in the delivery.

Finishes:

- Black powder-coated: The engine guard is powder-coated in black after welding, giving it a beautiful, deep black finish.
- Raw aluminium: The aluminium remains untreated, leaving the attractive weld seams fully visible. You then have the option of leaving the aluminium as it is or, for example, brushing it to achieve an attractive finish.

Accessories:

The engine guard looks particularly good in combination with our Ripped radiator grille / fork guard / chain guard / retro exhaust cover. The ribs on these parts share the same design and harmonise perfectly with one another (see product images).

Classicbike-Raisch aluminum chain guard + chain fin fits Triumph Scrambler 1200 models.Made in Germany This chain guard was not like most other accessories chain guard simply copied from the original and then optically slightly modified. He was designed so that he runs as flat as possible over the chain to look visually optimal and inconspicuous. Because both the original chain protectors as well as most of the accessories, have a lot of air upwards to the chain. Nevertheless, our chain guard is granted that this gets no contact with the chain when driving.In addition, the protection is much shorter than the original which protrudes far beyond the sprocket. This looks visually much better and more harmonious. A good splash protection is thus widely granted. In addition, the kit includes an aluminum chain fin in the same design, which replaces the original plastic fin. The Raisch chain guards are made of 2mm aluminum. Available in: Black or Gloss Black. The black ones are powder coated, which also ensures a deep black tone for years, which does not discolor over the years as with anodizing.

Classicbike-Raisch protective grille for the water cooler in ripped design made in Germany by Classicbike-Raisch. This grille makes the not exactly beautiful and above all not popular water cooler on our beloved Classic Twins much more attractive! Fits all LC models (please select model in the selection). The ribbed design skillfully gives the front of your machine a striking design. The special thing about the ripped grille is that it also covers the original radiator from the sides, giving it an even cleaner look. The laser-cut aluminum grille is powder-coated in black.The grille is simply attached with the original screws of the radiator grille. It can be fitted to models that have a simple protective grille ex works (older models) as well as to models that do not have a protective grille ex works. On the one hand, the grille looks good and on the other, it protects the radiator from damage caused by stone chips or other objects.

A pair of Classicbike-Raisch fork protectors for the Triumph Scrambler 1200. Made in Germany! An absolute must on any real off road & scrambler machine. The original protectors in the rough plastic surface just look cheap compared to our high quality aluminum protectors. The plates are provided with light slotted holes to get a perfect alignment on any machine. All necessary mounting hardware is included. The original fender is not required if you remove the original plastic protectors. Our recommendation is to install a high fender, because it fits much better to a Scrambler. Suitable fenders can be found in the accessories section of this description. In the black version, the protectors are powder coated. In the silver brushed version, the protectors are brushed by hand and then clear anodised. This gives them almost the same surface as the original mudguards.
