Zard 2-2 slip-on silencer for the R9T Scrambler.

A Scrambler exhaust straight out of the book! This is exactly what an exhaust on a Scrambler should look like. Two slim, tapered rear silencers, positioned neatly one above the other. Combined with the grilles at the exhaust tips, this creates exactly the right look a Scrambler needs!
What’s more, the exhaust also impresses with its lovely, deep and rich sound – just as you’d expect from a 2-cylinder boxer engine.

The sound is noticeably better and more robust thanks to the exhaust, but to our ears it doesn’t quite deliver the ‘wow’ factor one might hope for. 
We recommend that those who prefer a slightly more robust and louder sound order our additional Zard Racing DB-killers to go with it (see the accessories section in this description – not road-legal). With the Racing DB-Killers fitted, the bike then has the robust and beautifully deep, bass-heavy sound that a 1200cc engine should have! The advantage here, however, is that a DB-Killer is fitted, so the bike doesn’t get too loud and it looks as though everything is original.

In the standard version, the exhaust is supplied in polished stainless steel (which also looks very smart). Alternatively, the exhaust can be ordered with a black ceramic coating.

This has an influence on the sound and draft.With the flap open, the sound is audibly more powerful, with the flap closed, it is quieter. The engine revs up a little more willingly and with more bite when the flap is open.The loud cold start of the EU5 model can be significantly reduced with the flap closed, which even pleases the neighbors.
