Product information "DB-Killer IXIL"
To be able to remove the DB killer on IXIL exhaust systems, a welding spot must be drilled out and milled away.
Who does not want to do this work yourself, it can be ordered here with it.
After that you can then fix our Racing DB-Killer with a supplied screw. To mount the original DB-killer two screws + nuts are needed.
Attention the delivery of the exhaust system may be delayed by the removal of the DB Killer 1-3 working days (depending on the order situation in our workshop).

The Zard Short exhaust is probably the shortest exhaust you can get for the Triumph Street Twin or Street Cup.It runs directly under the engine - this ensures a really clean look and leaves the entire rear wheel visible.

FOR T100 WITHOUT ABE
A really nice short rear silencer that provides a really sporty line. In addition to the sporty, short look, the exhaust also provides the suitably throaty sound that a 2-cylinder must have. Really nice and muffled & bassy.
There are special racing DB killers developed by us for the exhaust for more sound than standard and also more power (as the original DB killer is quite closed). For the sound you want and still have a DB-killer installed, which makes it look completely legal. See accessories in this article description. The original DB-Killers are additionally fixed with a welding point ex works. In order to be able to remove the DB-Killer, this welding point must be milled away (then it can be fastened with a screw and easily installed and removed). If you don't want to do this work yourself, you can also have us do it for you. See the accessories article in this description "DB Killer removal".
If you would like to have the exhaust system coated in black ceramic, you can have this done by us. To do this, order the accessory article (in this description) "Exhaust ceramic coating". The rear silencers will then be completely black (the IXIL logo will no longer be visible).

ATTENTION! The system is not approved for the T100 Euro 4 models. However, it is still supplied with an E-number for the T120.
General description of the Zard exhaust system
The Zard Short and the Slim 2-2 rear silencers have a nice muffled and full sound.
The DB-Eater can be dismantled.
All materials necessary for assembly are included in the scope of delivery.
The EC-approved rear silencers have an engraved E-number and do not need to be entered in the vehicle documents.
The sound is simply awesome! See for yourself (see video at the end of the description. The video shows a 900cc T100)
Note on the DB killers (removal & racing DB killers)To remove the DB-killer on the exhaust system, a difficult to reach spot weld has to be drilled out and milled away. Zard 2-2 slip-on stainless steel exhaust for Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC & XE with E-number (for both the EU 4 and EU 5 models).
The two rear silencers are positioned very close together in order to achieve the slimmest possible line. The large openings created by the slash cut on the end caps make the rear of the bike look even beefier and emphasize the off-road look of the Scrambler.The heat protection plate from the original exhaust system is retained. The accessory heat protection plate, which you can see in two product photos, can be found under the accessory items in this description.
The exhaust also delivers slightly more power than the standard system (see pictures for power curve).
The sound of the Scrambler is already audibly better and throatier with the exhaust, but in our ears it doesn't have the desired AHA effect that you would hope for. Sound video with original DB killers see below.We recommend people who like it a bit throatier and louder to order our additional Zard Racing DB-Killer (see accessories article in this description without road approval).In order to be able to remove the original DB-Killer from the exhaust system, a welding point that is difficult to access must be drilled out and milled away (takes a little more than half an hour). If you want to have this done, you must order the additional item DB-Killer removal Zard exhaust CB11514 (see accessories in this description).If the sound is still not enough for you, you will then have to install the H-pipe (cat replacement pipe).
The exhaust system is available either with E-number or as a racing version (without E-number). The end caps are also available in stainless steel (same design as the rest of the exhaust) or carbon fiber (surcharge).

Euro 5 models from 2021: The exhaust also fits these models. However, it is NOT homologated for the Euro5 models (i.e. the model is behind the E-number that is on the exhaust is not deposited with).

With our DB Killer there are now 3 sound variants available for the Zard systems. With original DB Killer, with Raisch DB Killer or without. Our DB killers are without ABE.
