A pair of CNC machined aluminum caps for all BMW R nineT models with Tele fork. Matching our BMW Milled series, there are now also the fork crown caps. These replace the rather simple silver caps on the R9T fork.
The caps are easily replaced within a few minutes against the original. The Milled caps are manufactured in a very noble Black Pearl surface. That is, they are blasted before the black anodize, Glasperenl. This gives its very fine, slightly matte surface which feels and looks very high quality.

Hyperpro Black Line steering damper kit (with bracket) for BMW R nineT & R12 models. With ABE road approval.
All BMW R nineT models as well as the new R12 models are equipped with a steering damper (which is much too hard) ex works. This causes extremely poor and sluggish steering behavior. This problem is solved with an adjustable steering damper, which can be set considerably softer than the original, and the motorcycle is easier to turn and significantly more agile and manageable.We highly recommend that every R nineT driver install a new steering damper. The motorcycle is then much easier to ride.
If you want to test it in advance to see how big the difference is, simply remove the original damper and take a test ride without the damper.
The Hyperpro steering damper has a 75mm stroke and can be adjusted in 24 clicks. The damper is a linear CSC damper.
Delivered with ABE, so does not need to be registered.
A pair of aluminium standpipe covers with integrated LED turn signals for BMW R nineT.
These very high-quality fork covers ensure that the mismatching chrome on the fork disappears and that the fork appears thicker (like an upside down fork). In addition, tiny LED turn signals are integrated into the covers. This does away with the large original turn signals and gives the nineT a really nice clean front.The turn signals are E-numbered and also comply with the prescribed minimum distance (so they are Stvo compliant and legal).
The tubes are elaborately turned on a CNC lathe, have guides for the cables and rubber rings milled into them from the inside. On the outside they have a small flat surface on which the mini LED turn signals are mounted.After that, the covers are glass bead blasted and then anodised either silver or black. This gives the covers a very high-quality matt finish.
The covers are supplied with detailed step-by-step assembly instructions, cable solder connectors, heat shrink tubing and resistors (which are required for some models)

Öhlins offers beside their world famous upside down fork also a classic telescopic fork to convert bikes like the R9T to a high end fork without too much effort.Another advantage is that the classic style is preserved.
The forks are fully adjustable in spring preload, compression and rebound (more is not possible). The fork is the absolute best you can fit into your R9T.
To mount it on the R nine T you will need a mounting kit (see accessories in this description). The kit includes Brake caliper adapter, front wheel axle, fender mount. With this kit you have everything you need to install the fork Plug & Play in the R9T Scrambler or Urban GS.
The fork as well as the adapter set are delivered WITHOUT parts certificate. A technical drawing from Öhlins is included with the fork.We also provide a sample registration from Dekra, on which the fork is registered per §21 (single approval) on an Urban GS.

As with all motorcycles since the Euro 4 standard, reflectors are also glued to the forks of the BMW models. It looks absolutely awful, but unfortunately it's mandatory. We have a chic solution here that covers the reflectors but can also be removed at any time.

However, as this takes quite a long time and some people find this too long, we offer new tubes here as an alternative. The tubes are of very high quality and fit perfectly.
If you don't have the confidence to convert the fork tubes yourself, you can also send us your entire fork and have the conversion done in our suspension department. We then also use high-quality fork oil, which ensures a slightly improved response behaviour of the fork.

R12 nineT Our clear recommendation for the nineT is to order the shock absorber with length adjustment and maximum length.The original shock absorber from the factory is quite short and does not look very nice on the nineT. The rear end is clearly too low, which disturbs the side line. The higher rear makes the nineT look sportier (which the overall look of the motorbike also embodies) and the bike comes closer to the R nineT again. A visual flaw that many do not notice, but which makes a big difference.See pictures of the black nineTAn additional positive side effect is that the longer suspension strut gives the bike a little more ground clearance and the footrests touch down later when leaning.
R12 G/S
The G/S comes from the factory with a fairly long chassis, which suits the look of the bike and also fits the concept of the bike. The perfect mid-range shock from ÖHLINS at a really great price. It was a shock absorber with high-quality separation piston technology. That is, oil and gas are separated from each other in the piston. This means that so a decreasing damping is prevented by foaming under load.

The basic length is: 374mm + 12mm additional height adjustment. If you take full advantage of that you get the rear end a good 3 cm higher and this look seht the R9T Scrambler and the Urban GS really good. Fully adjustable in rebound and compression damping and spring preload. The non plus ultra in terms of suspension for the R9T. The fork is the original R9T fork from the response, suspension and all other properties miles superior. For everyone who wants to tickle out the optimum of drivability from the R9T. We ourselves drive the fork in our R9T together with the Bilstein suspension and the combination is just a poem of suspension.
In addition, the fork looks just in black also still class.

Installation instructions are included with the kit. However, there should be specialist knowledge of suspension technology!We are happy to carry out the conversion in our own Öhlins Service Center. Please order the additional article "Einabu Öhlins FKS fork cartridge" (see accessories in this description).
The fork cartridge is delivered with an ABE (general operating permit). This means that it can be easily installed and does NOT have to be registered with the TÜV.
If you don't like the original silver fork feet on your R9T, you can simply have them coated black by us. Simply send the disassembled fork to us and you will get it back with black fork feet.
If you can't dismantle the fork yourself, you can simply send the whole fork to us and we will do the work for you in our suspension department. If you choose the option with assembly, you simply send us the disassembled fork, we disassemble it here on site and then reassemble it after coating. Directly with better oil, which slightly improves the response behaviour of the fork.
It takes about 4 - 6 weeks until you have the part back.
We always finish the parts in black silk matt as standard. Several other colours are of course also possible on request.
The price is for the coating of both fork legs. Looks particularly good in combination with black fork tubes.
As many people don't like the golden fork of the R9T, we have been looking for a way to get it reasonably black without having to buy a complete Öhlins fork. We offer a very high-quality black anodised finish for the fork tubes, which gives the bike a completely different look.
To do this, the removed, disassembled & cleaned fork tubes must be sent to us. Or you can choose the option with assembly, in which case you simply send us the removed fork, we disassemble it here on site and then reassemble it after anodising. Directly with better oil, which improves the response behaviour of the fork.
Anodising and shipping takes between 6 and 10 weeks. If this takes too long, you can opt for new stanchions, which we have in stock (see similar items in this description).
Please note: blacking the fork legs is not included (see accessories for extra items).
New from MotoIsm - the two-piece fork covers with integrated indicators. These innovative fork covers are very quick & easy to fit. Thanks to the two-part design of the covers, they can simply be slipped around the fork and fixed in place with the supplied cable ties (which are on the inside and not visible). The fork does not have to be removed, it couldn't be easier. The covers can be fitted in no time at all.
LED SMD indicators with E-number are integrated in the covers. This kills two birds with one stone (inconspicuously mounted indicators that are still clearly visible from the front and a more attractive fork).
The covers from MotoIsm (Made in Germany) are manufactured from high-quality, carbon fibre-reinforced plastic using a 3D printing process. MotoIsm produces the highest quality 3D-printed parts on the motorbike market. The surface has a very nice & smooth feel.
The matching indicator plugs including the matching resistors can be ordered directly: Matching indicator plugs with integrated resistors are available for the Motoism indicators. These guarantee a problem-free connection (simply plug the connector into the original wiring harness) and a suitable flashing frequency. Öhlins steering damper for all BMW R nineT models.
Since the original steering damper of all R9T models is much too hard and has no adjustment, the motorcycle can only be turned very ponderously. Therefore, it is highly recommended to install a steering damper with adjustment and to set this relatively soft. This makes the motorcycle much easier to handle. If you want to test this, you can simply remove the original damper and go for a ride (then you will immediately notice how much better the bike rides). You just can not leave it permanently, because the operating license expires without Lenkunksdämpfer.
The steering dampers are supplied with ABE. So these do not have to be registered at the TÜV.
AC Schnitzer CNC-milled aluminum hand adjuster for the damping of the rear shock absorber on your BMW R12.
As standard, you can adjust the damping of the original shock absorber on your BMW using the adjuster wheel, which is practical. Only the cheap plastic adjuster doesn't look too good. AC Schnitzer has the solution here. A beautifully milled & black anodized aluminum part, which looks significantly higher quality than the original and also feels better to the touch.

Thanks to the option of adjusting the length of the strut, the rear of the R 12 is visibly higher. DLC coating in black for fork stanchions.
Would you like a black fork? Is it not enough for you that the outer tubes and fork legs are black? No problem, you can also have the inner stanchions of your fork DLC coated by us.
Either you send us your dismantled tubes and we send them back to you coated or you send us your complete fork, we dismantle it and then send it back to you newly coated and reassembled. Please contact us beforehand so that we can make you an offer for the labour time.

Unfortunately, crashing your motorcycle is always an unpleasant topic. In the event of a crash, the fork and swingarm of the motorcycle are always the first to come into contact with the asphalt. To protect the fork in the event of a fall, we recommend fitting crash pads to the fork legs. As crash pads often do not look attractive, Rizoma offers the solution here. The Rizoma crash pad is so elegantly finished that it even enhances the appearance of the R12.

The application of HKS GGV completely eliminates the so-called telescopic fork breakaway torque. The smallest bumps and the like are no longer transmitted from the unsprung part of the telescopic fork to the motorcycle. The result: silky smooth, supple handling and the safest possible ground contact. A noticeable benefit! In combination with a HKS extremely lubricated chain results in a "buttery smooth ride"!!! A breakaway torque no longer exists!
