Although the brake is only a small part on a motorcycle, but a high-quality milled brake makes compared to the simple series calipers visually very much.
No adapters are needed for mounting as with some other solutions, because the brake caliper is mounted directly on the receiver as the original. Due to the matching piston sizes in the caliper, the original brake pumps can be used without restriction. A great pressure point makes this caliper almost a 2-finger brake. A second brake disc in the 1-disc models is no longer missed there.
Extensive tests under really sharp conditions of "Racinghenne" showed no fading. In the models with two calipers, the braking performance is quite raised to the level of the Thruxton R (Brembo) brake. Anyone who has ever ridden a Thruxton R knows how big the difference is.
We supply this caliper without brake pads. There are different brake pads available (you can find them here in the article under accessories).
The RAISCH brake calipers are delivered with TÜV parts certificate. Delivery includes new, black steel braided brake line (free of charge). If NOT the original handlebar should be installed, please be sure to specify in the comment field when ordering, which handlebar is mounted (affects the brake line length). Please also specify the motorcycle in the comment (also affects the matching brake line).
Easy assembly / bleeding: Who would like to simplify the bleeding during the conversion as well as for the future considerably (or be rid) we recommend the Stahlbus bleed valve (see accessories article in this description).

The brake discs give your machine a more aggressive and sporty look. Looks particularly good in combination with a milled brake calliper (like our Raisch calliper).
They can be simply plug & play replaced with the original ones.BUT ATTENTION: For some models, special spacer discs are also required (see at the bottom of the product description)
The brake discs have an R90 EU certificate (do not have to be registered).The Wave brake discs have the new R90 certificate. This makes the annoying & expensive TÜV registration a thing of the past. Simply install and be on the road legally.

The brake discs have a KBA number. ATTENTION: Not every model is necessarily stored behind this KBA number (if this is the case, the disc must be registered, which is not a problem). Take a look at the KBA documents in advance (you can find them under the downloads in this description) to see if your model is included. If not, clarify with your TÜV inspector beforehand whether he will register the disc for you. For some models (e.g. the Bobber Black, we can also supply a sample registration).

Magura HC1 radial brake pump in complete black including black brake lever. Ø18mm piston diameter (optimal for the Thruxton R) with certificate for easy registration.The topic of the wandering pressure point, which leads to an unsafe braking feeling and thus to a lack of confidence in the brake, should be known with the Thruxton R. In many forums there are many comments and discussions about it. Since the manufacturer has not solved the problem so far, we have now taken action and eliminated it permanently.By installing the Magura brake pump, it is now completely repaired! We installed the pump on our own motorcycle and tested it extensively on the road and on the racetrack.The HC1 pump is fitted by us with additional material and therefore fits plug & play on the Thruxton R, nothing else needs to be modified.As standard, the brake pump is supplied with a simple plastic reservoir. Who is not nice enough, which can choose the variant aluminum reservoir. Then the pump is supplied with a CNC machined aluminum expansion tank from Rizoma (see photos), including matching holder. Meanwhile, the Rizoma kit is delivered with the Rizoma Notch container (see Behäter single photo).
Double disc brake kit for Thruxton 1200 and Bonneville T120. Consists of: 2x Raisch 4-piston caliper + 2x floating brake disc with black inner star + brake lines + brake pads. With this you brake on a completely different level. The difference to the series brake is really enormous. A comparison to the Thruxton-R brake this brake kit does not need to shy away. All parts with ABE or parts certificate.
There is the kit as a road or racing variant. The difference is ONLY in the brake pads. Variant 1 Road: road-approved brake pads / Variant 2 Racing: pads without road approval, but which brake much better.
